However, you can <strong>see the whole city in 2 days<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If you really want to immerse yourself in the charm of Venice, spend a few extra days wandering the narrow streets and discovering other museums you never knew existed!<\/p>\n<p>Your budget will determine the length of your stay in Venice. Accommodation in the city is generally not \"cheap\". Accommodation will be your main expense. On average, you'll need <strong>from \u20ac50 to \u20ac200 per night<\/strong>. It all depends on where you want to stay in Venice. Once there, you'll probably want to experience everything the city has to offer.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Venice budget: take a Gondola ride<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If you're going to Venice as a couple, you may want to take a ride in a car. <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourvenise.fr\/en\/venice-gondola\/\">gondola<\/a>. It's important to know that the cost of this type of transport is generally very high. This is because the gondolier spends many years learning the trade. As it's also Venice's main attraction, prices aren't necessarily \"cheap\".<\/p>\n<p>The city of Venice sets the official prices for gondola rides, <strong>starting at \u20ac80 for 40 minutes<\/strong>. Additional 20-minute increments are \u20ac40. After 7 p.m., the basic rate rises to \u20ac100, with \u20ac50 for an additional 20 minutes. If you want to save money and lose a little of the romance, you can share your gondola with another couple. This will cost you less and <strong>you can enjoy a ride on this unique means of transport.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Getting to Piazza San Marco<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>San Marco is known for its luxury. This place probably won't be your favorite if you're visiting Venice on a budget.<\/p>\n<p>In the on-site caf\u00e9, <strong>you can expect to pay up to \u20ac20 for two cappuccinos!<\/strong> You can also climb to the very top of the Campanile for a magnificent view of the city. Finally, I recommend a visit to the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourvenise.fr\/en\/doges-palace\/\">doges palace<\/a>. To save money on your attractions, have a look at <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourvenise.fr\/en\/place-saint-marc\/\">the article I wrote on the subject.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Budget in Venice: don't miss the Peggy Guggenheim Museum<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Located on the Grand Canal, the museum houses one of Europe's most famous and respected collections of modern art.<\/p>\n<p>It includes works from cubism, futurism, metaphysical painting, surrealism, among many others, and I guarantee you that <strong>you won't be disappointed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Of course, you'll have to pay admission to get in. Please click here, <strong>you will be charged \u20ac16<\/strong> for adults, but only if you have a student card, <strong>is \u20ac9.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Visit Burano and Murano<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Abstract, unique and wonderfully luminous, these two islands are famous for their <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourvenise.fr\/en\/murano-glass\/\">glass manufacturing<\/a> and lace. It's also easy to see why when you visit the many stores and admire the many statues and artifacts made from this wonderful, unique glass.<\/p>\n<p>You can easily visit these islands via a frequent water cab from Venice. You should allow <strong>approx. 13 euros return<\/strong>. Perfect for a day trip!<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc134722428\"><\/a><strong>Budget for dining in Venice<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>People always assume that eating out anywhere in Italy is expensive, but it's possible to eat on a budget.<\/p>\n<p>\u200d Italy offers so many incredible kinds of pizza to try, you'll find it hard to resist! Starting at 2 euros for a slice and a can for 1 euro, it's the perfect snack when sightseeing! I'd recommend turning to Antico Forno if you're passing through the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourvenise.fr\/en\/rialto-bridge\/\">Rialto bridge<\/a>. If you're not a pizza fan, you'll also find paninis, sandwiches and wraps of all kinds to suit every taste. <strong>prices ranging from 2 to 5 euros.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I'd advise you not to get caught up in the \"touristy\" menus found in most local restaurants. Search the streets. Venice is full of hidden, authentically Italian restaurants. Caf\u00e9 Impronta serves Italian cuisine, and in the afternoon you can get <strong>a main course and a glass of wine for 12 euros<\/strong>! \u200dIt's a must-see!<\/p>\n<p>Of course, other establishments, such as this one around the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourvenise.fr\/en\/place-saint-marc\/\">place Saint-Marc<\/a>The price of these products can skyrocket. For example, it is not uncommon to find <strong>menus at \u20ac200<\/strong> around this famous tourist square. However, if you want to enjoy the city's culinary authenticity, I'd advise you to visit the cheaper, less touristy establishments.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc134722429\"><\/a><strong>Getting around Venice<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>You'll also need to factor into your budget the various means of transport you'll need to get around Venice. Keep in mind, however, that you'll be getting around on foot most of the time. If you wish to use public river transport, I recommend you take the adapted transport cards. While it's possible to find relatively inexpensive places to visit, other places, monuments and museums will be much less accessible.
