The only drawback is that it can be crowded with tourists, especially on summer weekends.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How to get to Venice Lido <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Lines 5.1 and 6 from Piazzale Roma, Santa Lucia station and Piazza San Marco take you directly to the Lido beach.<\/p>\n<p>For this journey, you must count : <strong>7.5 euros per person.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc134737091\"><\/a><strong>Punta Sabbioni: Venice's great beach for campers<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Not far from the Lido, and nestled between the lagoon and the Adriatic Sea, you have the long Cavallino Treporti peninsula, a stretch of land with several beaches opening onto <strong>the Adriatic on one side and the lagoon on the other.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The area closest to Venice is called Punta Sabbioni, and at the other end of the peninsula is the famous Jesolo, <strong>one of the region's most famous seaside resorts.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In between, you'll find several beaches and towns, all with beautiful golden sands and shallow waters, perfect for families and sunbathing.<\/p>\n<p>It's a popular area to spend a day on the beach in Venice, but it's also <strong>an interesting place for camping.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Several campsites offer accommodation, bungalows and camping options at various price levels. This seaside resort lies to the south of Venice, <strong>about 1 h 30 from <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourvenise.fr\/en\/downtown-venice\/\">Venice city center<\/a> by ferry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourvenise.fr\/en\/sottomarina\/\">Sottomarina beach<\/a> is sandy, clean and large. It has soft, fine sand sloping gently into the water and a lovely expanse of caf\u00e9s and beach clubs offering food, sun loungers and parasols.<\/p>\n<p>The town's long seafront promenade is a favorite with tourists. <strong>for walking and cycling.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition to the beach, the town is well equipped with sports facilities such as a beach volleyball court, discos and restaurants.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How do I get to Sottomarina from Venice? <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To get there, you can use the bus service or take the Vaporetto from Venice.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc134737093\"><\/a><strong>Spiaggia Ca' Roman: the perfect place for nature lovers<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Ca Roman beach on the island of Pellestrina is a protected oasis under Lipu's care.<\/p>\n<p>This beach is unique in that it boasts one of the wildest dune environments in the region and is home to <strong>many species of seabirds.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It's a beautiful beach near Venice for a day in nature birdwatching.
