And among them, Burano is considered the most beautiful!<\/p>\n<p>It is made up of 4 islets - San Mauro, Giudecca, San Martino and Terranova - and like its big sister Venice, it is criss-crossed by <strong>small channels<\/strong> that give it a unique style.<\/p>\n<p>What's more, its <strong>houses in perennial colors<\/strong> along the water's edge will delight photo enthusiasts. For the record, this was originally a <strong>fishermen's houses<\/strong>These were painted in a variety of colors, so that when the fog became too intense, everyone could easily identify their own.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, to maintain the tradition and ensure that this Venetian village retains all its appeal, residents are obliged to paint their homes once a year.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Burano lace<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>But Burano's fame comes above all from <strong>its lace<\/strong>manufactured and exported throughout Europe between the XV<sup>e<\/sup> and the XVI<sup>e<\/sup> century.
