Although Venice has become <strong>a year-round destination<\/strong>I think the real high season starts at the beginning of June and lasts until the end of September.<\/p>\n<p>The worst time to travel to Venice is August, when tourism peaks in the city of water. July is the second worst month to visit Venice.<\/p>\n<p>If you can choose between spring or autumn, I recommend visiting the city in autumn. The city in October is less crowded than in spring <strong>since there are fewer public holidays on the European continent<\/strong>. This means fewer travel opportunities for most Europeans. Global warming is changing weather patterns worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Europe is benefiting from the \"end of summer\", with warm summer weather now extending into early autumn, whereas <strong>wet and windy weather stays away.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Summer weather in Venice generally lasts until October. The average maximum temperature over the last 30 years has been 18 degrees Celsius. <strong>with only five days of rain<\/strong>. Due to global warming and rapid climate change, these averages are no longer appropriate.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Recent climate changes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>You have to look at more recent years. In 2019, temperatures were well above this historic average, with peaks of 23 degrees measured up to the end of October. I therefore recommend the use of <strong>comfortable footwear for a comfortable, relaxing city tour.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The humidity typical of the lagoon city accentuates the perception of cold, so it's advisable to dress appropriately for these conditions.
