Surprisingly, for such a large building, <strong>it took just 17 months to complete.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It's often very pleasant to take a short break away from the city on the island of Lido. To get there, you can take the hotel's shuttle service by boat, which connects the island to the sea. <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourvenise.fr\/en\/place-saint-marc\/\">place Saint-Marc<\/a> \u00e0 <strong>Excelsior Hotel<\/strong>It runs every half hour and takes 20 to 25 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>You can't take any luggage with you, except for small personal effects. The Excelsior Hotel has welcomed celebrities and film stars from all over the world as they paraded along the hotel's famous quay and pier.<\/p>\n<p>The quay is where stars from all over the world have their photos taken during the Venice Film Festival. When the festival is over, you can recreate these snapshots by <strong>using the pier as a backdrop.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc138438304\"><\/a><strong>L'Excelsior in Venice: a magical atmosphere right from the reception desk<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>As you enter the hotel, you'll be greeted by a typically Italian interior design. However, I'd recommend the Hotel Excelsior's suites. These have an average surface area of 45 m\u00b2 and are sometimes equipped with a terrace overlooking the Venetian lagoon. Thanks to the large bay window, <strong>the natural light that enters the room is exceptional.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc138438307\"><\/a><strong>Enjoy a bathroom with a view<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>After a day spent swimming, eating, drinking and wading in the sea, even the bathroom is a real gem to discover. In some rooms, you can enjoy a magnificent view from your bath. On site, you can opt for the buffet and choose what appeals to you most. The waiter collects your order and brings it to your table.
