You'll find caf\u00e9s and restaurants bustling with activity as they prepare for their day's work. You can also <strong>many souvenir stores.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They sell <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourvenise.fr\/en\/murano-glass\/\">Murano glass<\/a>These include carnival magnets and masks, wooden boats, miniature ships in bottles and many other souvenirs. However, these little stores are sometimes full of fakes. If you're looking for a store selling handicrafts, I'd recommend <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourvenise.fr\/en\/souvenir-from-venice\/\">read this article<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc138725349\"><\/a><strong>Venice walking tour: the fruit market<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>As you stroll through the city's various markets, you're bound to come across Venice's open fruit and vegetable markets. Here, you'll find stalls set up in the middle of the road by fruit vendors. Their carts are usually loaded with fruit, <strong>both exotic and local.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Most of these carts belonged to vendors of Asian origin. They had come from far and wide to realize their dreams in the magical city of Venice.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc138725350\"><\/a><strong>Enjoy the canals and bridges<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Venice is a magnificent archipelago, unique in the world. Walk for 5 minutes and <strong>you will inevitably arrive on another channel<\/strong>. These are usually dotted with bridges to help locals and tourists cross from one bank to the other. These bridges are for pedestrians only.<\/p>\n<p>During your stay, you are likely to pass through a number of <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourvenise.fr\/en\/number-of-bridges-in-venice\/\">bridges for strolling in Venice<\/a>. These include the four bridges over the Grand Canal. If you have children, they're likely to spend their time chasing Venice's pigeons. The squares are very interesting places.
