The secrets of glassblowing are passed down <strong>from father to son<\/strong>This has been the case since the 12th century, when glassmakers were forced to move to the island by a decree of the Venetian Senate in 1201.<\/p>\n<p>That's right, <strong>fire hazards<\/strong> of this activity worried the Venetians.
