Sleep under the stars at Marina de Venise campsite
If you want to enjoy one of the region's largest campsites, you'll find it south of the great Jesolo peninsula at Cavallino.
Here you can enjoy magnificent beaches for on days when you're not visiting the old town.
On days when the beauty of the floating city makes itself felt, know that you can get there in no time at all. The ferry to Venice from Punta Sabbioni is about a kilometer away. Ferries depart every 30 minutes and arrive in Venice. thanks to line 14 of the vaporetto.
A gigantic campsite
Camping Marina is gigantic. On site, you'll find :
- A street with stores
- Large and small pools
- Sports facilities
- Good sanitary facilities

Camping in Venice: the Fusina
This campsite is located on the mainland south of Mestre and Marghera. There's a ferry to Venice right next to the Fusina campsite.
It offers hourly departures throughout the day. From this location, you can quickly reach the old town.
The location is particularly good for people who want to make daily trips to the old town.
Camping Fusina is magnificently situated on the seafront. A large industrial zone lies further away.
However, you can book your tickets for Venice directly from the campsite. All you need to do is go to reception and ask for transport.
Book a camping vacation at camping Ca'Savio
This campsite is about 1 km north of Camping Marina. From here, too, it's just over a kilometer to Punta Sabbioni.
On site, you'll find beautiful sandy beaches and shade under the many trees. For greater comfort, I recommend renting a bungalow. Bungalows are very popular and you often have to book in advance.
Last but not least, you'll find all the amenities of the big campsites. Here you can enjoy :

- Stores
- Restaurants
Other campsites around Venice
There are dozens of other campsites around Venice. Many are on the peninsula near the town of Cavallino, with ferry connections from Punta Sabbioni in Venice.
South of Venice, in the town of Chioggia and the seaside suburb of Sottomarina, several campsites.
From there, you're pretty far from Venice. In fact, you'll need at least an hour to reach the city center. You can either get there by car, bus or by ferry and bus via the Pellestrina and Lido islands.
There are a number of campsites around Venice. You can choose remote locations and discover the Venetian region, or enjoy a campsite close to the old town. Depending on the type of vacation you're looking for, you have a multitude of choices to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
