I'd advise you to visit early in the morning. That way, you'll avoid the crowds of tourists jostling to contemplate the theater's sublime interiors. The site is open to visitors on a daily basis. Your admission ticket includes audio tour.

From the Ponte dell'Accademia, you have one of the best views of the Grand Canal. In fact, it's one of my favorite places in Venice.
Look east and you'll see the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute. This bridge is also an ideal place to watch the gondolas, the water buses and cabs up and down the Grand Canal.
Take a ride on the vaporetto
Visit vaporetto is a waterbus that runs up and down the Grand Canal, covering a large part of Venice. It's the cheapest way to cruise the Grand Canal.
From the vaporetto station next to Ponte dell'Accademia, take vaporetto no. 1 or no. 2 to the Rialto Bridge. The cost is 7.50 for a one-way ticket or €21 for a 24-hour ticket. For this itinerary, a one-way ticket is sufficient.

Visit Rialto bridge is a covered walkway filled with stores at its center. In addition to the magnificent view, you can enjoy the small stalls that are placed all along the bridge. A wonderful place to you can't miss when you come to Veniceeven for a day.
Explore the canals of Venice
Take a one- or two-hour stroll along the canals of Venice. From the Rialto Bridge, head east, walking from the sestiere de San Marco to Castello.
You can also rent a gondola. Gondolas ply many of Venice's canals, which can easily become part of your afternoon. Gondola rides can last from 15 minutes to an hour, depending on what you negotiate with the gondolier.
How much does a gondola ride cost?
The City of Venice sets the rate at 80 € per 40 minutes (€100 after 7 p.m.), but that doesn't mean that's the rate you'll get. You'll need to negotiate with your gondolier before boarding.
Make sure you agree on the price and duration of your trip before you settle in. If you want him to sing, it will cost you extra.
Visit Venice in 1 day: the Campanile and Saint Mark's Square
Le Campanile is the huge bell tower of the place Saint-Marc. From the top of the Campanile, you have one of the best views of Venice. A visit usually takes 30 minutes, and an elevator takes you to the top.
For this visit, you will need 10 € per person. Le Campanile is accessible 9.30 a.m. to 5.15 p.m. and the last entry is at 4:45 pm.
Doge's Palace
Visit Doge's Palace is a palace built in the Venetian Gothic style. For centuries, the building served as the Doge's residence, the seat of government and the palace of justice. It is now a museum open to the public.
Please note that 5 p.m. is the last time you are allowed to enter the Doge's Palace. Make sure you get there first!
Visit Saint Mark's Basilica by night
This tour takes place after the basilica closes. With a guide, you can visit the basilica without the crowds. You'll see the Pala d'Oro, a magnificent Byzantine altarpiece.
