What is the Museum Pass in Venice for?
The Museum Pass gives you a right of free access to all the museums on the list, with priority admission. So you won't have to wait in line - which can be quite long in some places - as a queue will be reserved for you.
Which museums are included in the Pass?
The Museum Pass includes visits to 11 museums and cultural venues following :
- The famous Doge's Palaceone of the city's must-see attractions, which also gives you access to the Bridge of Sighs
- Visit Correr Museumdedicated to the city's history
- Visit national museum of archaeology
- Visit Marciana library
These 4 monuments are located on the Place Saint Marc and so you can use this Pass to visit them one after the other without wasting any time.
You will also have access to the following locations:
- The superb palace Ca' Rezzonicolocated along the Venice Grand Canal
- Visit Palazzo di Ca' Pesaro and its works of modern art
- Carlo Goldoni's House

Rates and booking
- Adult ticket: €40
- 22 euros for under-26s / over-65s
You can buy this Museum Pass on the www.veneziaunica.it/which allows you to select the validity start date. You will then receive a ticket by email, which you can print out or present digitally at reception.
Note that it is also possible to purchase this Pass directly from one of the museums concerned, on your first visit.
Use
The Pass is valid 6 months from the date of validity. It entitles the holder to a single entry to each museum.
Practical information
Without a Pass, museums are free of charge for children under 5. Discounts are also available for children aged between 6 and 14, and for students (up to 29) within the European Union.
Should you buy Museum Pass Venice in 2022?
Buying a Museum Pass is worthwhile if you plan to a series of museum visits during your stay in Venice. Or if you plan to return in the next 6 months, to visit other museums.
For a stay of short termmost travellers focus instead on main points of interest of the city, which already takes some time. In fact, you can do without it.
In my opinion, the best solution is to define what you intend to do. Things to see and do in Venice during your stay and choose the Pass that best suits your program!
